Arsenal will look to bounce back from their first defeat in 23-matches when they meet arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur for the second time in December.
Unai Emery’s side beat their London rivals 4-1 in the Premier League at the beginning of the month, however, a defeat to Southampton at the weekend ended the impressive run the Spaniard had them on.
The Gunners will know that a place in the semi-final of the League Cup is up for grabs, however, it appears that there are some huge doubts ahead of the game for the Emirates Stadium outfit.
Hector Bellerin (left calf), Sead Kolasinac (right thigh) and Shkodran Mustafi (right hamstring) all need to be assessed ahead of the game as they look to recover from differing leg injuries.
Stephan Lichtsteiner has, however, provided Arsenal with some good news as he is fit and available for the game despite having picked up a knock in the defeat to Southampton.
Emery will be looking for an immediate reaction from his side when they meet Tottenham on Wednesday.
With the three defenders a doubt, and Rob Holding on the sidelines for the long-term future, there may be some huge concerns about their backline heading into the game.
However, with it being for a place in the last four of the competition and a north London derby rolled into one, Emery will be expecting his side to be up for the contest as he searches for his first piece of English silverware.
