Arsenal will be looking to make it three wins from three in the Europa League when they meet Sporting Lisbon on Thursday at the Estadio Jose Alvalade.
The Gunners have already beaten Vorskla and Qarabag in the competition so far and will face their most difficult test when coming up against the Portuguese outfit, who also remain unbeaten.
Unai Emery will be looking for his side to capitalise on their brilliant overall form though heading into the game, having not lost a match in their last ten competitive matches.
Both Sead Kolasinac and Nacho Monreal both stayed in north London and will miss the game after having suffered from hamstring injuries, with Carl Jenkinson being called up to the first-team after becoming somewhat a forgotten man.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Petr Cech have also not been included in the squad, despite having recently returned to full training.
Laurent Koscielny has been working his way back following a serious Achilles injury but is not expected to be involved for some time yet.
Emery will be looking for his team to continue their fine form, however, the news that he does not have some of his key players available could come as a huge blow.
Monreal has been a key member of the team’s efforts in the competition this season, having played in both matches over the likes of Hector Bellerin.
The match will be the toughest test that Arsenal have faced in the Europa League so far and the game will help to show how far Emery has brought the club since joining in the summer.
