Arsenal will begin their Europa League campaign with a home fixture against Vorskla on Thursday night.
Unai Emery will be looking for his side to build on their run of three consecutive wins and will want to get off to a positive start in a group that also contains Sporting Lisbon and Qarabag FK.
Emery still has a number of players unavailable although a couple of them could make a return to first-team training at the beginning of October.
Sead Kolasinac is one of those as he continues to progress well from a left knee injury, whilst Ainsley Maitland-Niles could make a return later in the same month as he recovers from a fracture on his left fibula.
Carl Jenkinson and Laurent Koscielny are not expected to make a return until November, whilst Emery has confirmed Bernd Leno will make his long-awaited debut for the club.
Arsenal will be delighted that they do not have any concerns heading into their Europa League clash and will feel confident of getting a result against Vorskla.
Emery’s side are currently starting to put a run of strong results and performances together and the Spaniard will want his side to continue their form against the Ukrainian outfit.
The Gunners will look to welcome back some of their players to the squad in the coming months but will know that a win on Thursday will put them in a good position to progress to the next stage of the tournament.
