Arsenal team news: Unai Emery has six men back in contention for West Ham match

Arsenal will make the short trip across the capital when they meet West Ham United at the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The two sides will meet in the early kickoff as they return to Premier League action following the third round of the FA Cup.

The Gunners were hardly tested at the weekend when they beat Blackpool and will certainly be in for a tougher afternoon.

However, Unai Emery will be with a number of his key players for the game at the London Stadium.

According to the club’s official website, six men have all made their return to full training and are in contention to feature against West Ham.

Hector Bellerin, Laurent Koscielny, Dinos Mavropanos, Shkodran Mustafi, Nacho Monreal and Mesut Ozil have all overcome their various concerns that had kept them out on the sidelines.

The Verdict:

Emery and Arsenal will have been handed a huge boost ahead of their London derby with West Ham on Saturday.

The Gunners will be delighted to be able to call upon the six that are in contention as they look to continue their challenge for a Champions League place.

The Emirates Stadium outfit will want to replicate the same sort of performance that saw them defeat Fulham on New Year’s Day.
