Arsenal to surrender long-term target to Ligue 1 giants?

Serge Aurier Ivory Coast Arsenal fans in the Football Transfer Tavern were expecting to see Serge Aurier at their club next season but that deal could now be in jeopardy after Paris Saint-Germain entered the race.

The French giants have, according to talkSPORT, cooled their interest in Barcelona star Daniel Alves in favour of a move for Gunners target Aurier.

The Ivory Coast international, who currently plays for Toulouse, was named in the Ligue 1 team of the year last season after a sensational campaign.

He backed that up with a stellar World Cup campaign despite Ivory Coast’s group stage exit. It was thought that Arsene Wenger, who is in Brazil covering the games for French TV, was ready to pounce.

However Parisian rich-kids PSG could now take the deal out of Arsenal’s hands with a huge bid from their deep Qatar-backed resources.

Arsenal fans. Serge Aurier has been a Gunners target for weeks now so do you think the Frenchman should have acted quicker to land his man? Let us know your thoughts below.
