Sensational stories seem to be everywhere today and Metro have given us another one, with the return of Barcelona’s Cesc Fabregas to Arsenal not being ruled out.
The midfielder of course left the North London club after being courted by Catalan giants Barcelona for some time, making the long anticipated return home.
That has not proved all it was cracked up to be for the Spanish international however and after struggling to make an impact falling behind Xavi and Andres Iniesta in the pecking order it now seems a move away could be on the cards.
Cesc has been linked with both Manchester United and Manchester City thus far this summer but his former club Arsenal did not seem to be in the running to land the talented player.
Now David Dein has claimed that a return would not be impossible – in fact it would not surprise him. The former vice–chairman, who of course still has close links to the club and a very good relationship with Arsene Wenger, claimed: “You can never say never in football.
“I know Arsene Wenger will try to improve the squad if he can.”
Will Arsenal take up their first refusal option on Cesc this summer? Rate this rumour below.
