According to Metro, the North London outfit wants to secure a deal with AC Milan for Italian international striker Mario Balotellito before July 10th so he can feature in the new Puma kit launch.
The Gunners are reportedly set to offer the Serie A side £27 million for the former Manchester City star and plan to use him as a key cog in the new Arsenal manufacturing deal.
It’s the first time that Arsenal have worked with Puma, who also sponsor Balotelli personally, and they are keen to make a big deal of the promotional advertising.
Arsene Wenger’s side earned big cash from shirt sales when they managed to lure German midfielder Mesut Ozil away from Real Madrid.
And they hope to do the same with the arrival of Balotelli should a transfer fee and personal terms be agreed.
Arsenal fans. Your club will have to sell a lot of shirts to raise the £27 million. That’s too much for Balotelli, isn’t it? Let us know your thoughts below.
