Arsenal set to battle Premier League rivals to sign Spanish star

IscoSpanish playmaker Isco, has been hot property on the European market ever since his burst onto the scene for the Spanish U-21 side, and Arsenal fans here in the Transfer Tavern say they would love to see him play for the Gunners!

Despite a dream move to Real Madrid a few seasons back, he has struggled with life in the Capital, and a number of Premier League clubs are looking to give the attacking midfielder an escape route!

The Express are today reporting that both Manchester City and Arsenal will be trying to sign the Spanish International come the January transfer window.

The 23-year old was subject to vast speculation about a potential move for many months over the summer, but after Rafa Benitez was appointed manager, replacing the outgoing Ancelotti, it cooled any rumours of the young Spaniard making an exit.

However, with both Manchester City and Arsenal having a strong Spanish contingent at each respective club, either club could be an attractive destination for Isco!
