Aaron Ramsey's time as an Arsenal player is almost over with the 28-year-old only an official announcement away from becoming Juventus' latest signing with outlets such as Sky Sports (via Sky Italy) reporting a pre-contract has been signed.

Ramsey's current deal is set to expire at the end of the season, prompting Juventus into approaching the Welsh midfielder to bring him in on a free transfer for the summer.

The Italian giants, however, may not have to wait that long to get their man.

The Breakdown

According to the Independent, Arsenal will allow Ramsey to join up with the Old Lady now for a £10m fee if they can get loan deals for Barcelona's Denis Suarez and Bayern Munich's James Rodriguez over the line.

Given Juventus have probably offered £36m-rated (Transfermarkt) Ramsey humongous wages with the Wales international initially meant to arrive at the Allianz Stadium on a free, the idea of splashing out £10m just for a few extra months of service may not be something the Serie A champions are willing to entertain.

From an Arsenal perspective, however, the north London club should without a doubt be putting all of their efforts into agreeing a deal with Juventus now for the former Cardiff City player.

They are in need of funds and with Ramsey being far from a key figure in Unai Emery's squad, they can afford to let him go this window.
