England international Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is largely on the periphery of the first-team and has started just 54 Premier League games across his half decade with the Gunners.
Linked with moves away over the summer, the 23-year-old ultimately remained at the Emirates, despite his lack of consistent game time.
Still, speaking to Goals on Sunday, the winger has admitted the thought of leaving in order to get more minutes under his belt HAS crossed his mind in recent times.
”I love being at Arsenal. It’s a great club, a great team and I have a lot of faith in the team”, he said.
”I just want to keep focusing on that but there is that in my mind where I want to get more game time.
“There comes a time in your career sometimes when you have to re-evaluate and think, ‘Is that going to be here or elsewhere?’
“I’m not there at the moment, I’m fully focused on this season and playing my part. When you get to the end of the season, just like when managers re-evaluate their team, players re-evaluate their personal situations as well.
“I will do that at the end of the season and see what is happening.”
Jack Wilshere, a teammate of ‘The Ox’s’ at both club and country, was recently afforded a loan move away from Arsenal to Bournemouth this summer in order to bank more regular minutes.
