After Arsene Wenger finally splashed the cash late on in the summer, there’s been a good feeling amongst the Gunners in the Transfer Tavern.
Despite an opening day loss to Liverpool, the Gunners have been able to keep the pace with the likes of North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City at the summit of the Premier League.
However, it doesn’t appear everyone is quite convinced.
ESPN pundit Alejandro Moreno remains a critic of Le Prof’s work at the Emirates Stadium, stressing he would rather watch both Spurs and the Reds.
With the latter pair hugely impressive this season, Moreno is adamant about the fact there are more dynamic and expansive teams in the league.
Though the Gunners are in good form and look to have turned a corner (for the moment at least), does he have a point?
” I don’t think Arsenal are better than Spurs right now,” said the Venezuelan.
“I am not saying that’s how it’s going to end up, but right now where we stand, I would rather watch Spurs and Liverpool play.”
