Argentina’s £18m-rated winger is the perfect man to finish off Emery’s Arsenal rebuild

The Arsenal fans in and around the Transfer Tavern are pleased with the early signings Unai Emery has made but they know that more have to come through the door should a substantial top four push be possible.

The Gunners were very disappointing last season as they stumbled to a 6th place finish in the league during Arsene Wenger’s last season with the club. That form was due to a mixture of things, poor defensive performances, lacklustre in attack, the list goes on. The Gunners inside the Tavern want to see a player like Cristian Pavon, (who is valued at £18 million on Transfermarkt) come into the club this summer to create a more attacking threat on the wing.

Pavon is currently away with Argentina at the World Cup and should he get significant game-time, Arsenal can judge his ability and whether or not he would make a good signing. Judging by his form last season in the league for Boca Juniors and the Gunners would be desperate to sign him as Cristian Pavon scored 6 goals and assisted 11 in his 25 appearances.

The 22-year-old is a pacey winger that has bags of skills and most importantly potential to grow into a star for a club like Arsenal. With the platform to showcase his talent at the Emirates under Unai Emery, this could be an exciting transfer for both parties because if Pavon can keep up his brilliant form, Arsenal would grab themselves a bargain and a player that can set up Pierre Emeric Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette whenever he felt like it.
