Arsenal agree personal terms with £65m Chelsea target after Vardy snub

Jamie Vardy’s snub of Arsenal hasn’t been lived down in the Transfer Tavern, though the Gunners don’t appear to be taking their usual (far too laid back) approach to bad transfer related news.

According to notorious journalist Emanuele Giulianelli, the North London giants have reached an agreement with Everton forward Romelu Lukaku over what would be a seismic summer move.

The lethal Belgian forward has been strongly linked with a £65m return to former club Chelsea this summer, though it is reportedly Arsene Wenger and his charges who’ve hit a transfer breakthrough.

While the Toffees are still understood to be asking for a monumental sum, the Italian suggests they will drop their huge asking price should no one be willing to pay that sort of money.

The 23-year old is said to have reached an agreement with the Emirates club on a personal level, while both Premier League sides attempt to thrash out a potentially huge deal.

Would Lukaku win Arsenal the league?
