Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern have gathered around the pool table to discuss the club’s latest completed deal, which sees a talented player leave on loan…
The Gunners have confirmed that young starlet Daniel Crowley has joined Eredivisie side Go Ahead Eagles for the remainder of the season, after cutting short his spell with Oxford United.
Crowley managed eleven appearances with the League One side this season, finding the net on three occasions, and the 19-year-old is highly-rated amongst the Arsenal fans in the Tavern, having joined the Gunners in 2014 from Aston Villa’s academy.
The teenager’s playing style has been likened to fellow Arsenal academy graduate Jack Wilshere in the Tavern, and his latest loan move should help him continue his development, before pushing into the first-team fold in the coming years.
Our landlord is delighted to see one of England’s best young talents sent abroad, as he feels the experience of playing outside of England will have a huge impact on Crowley’s development.
