Arsenal boss reveals all about offers to leave, makes bold claim

It’s a return to the Champions League tonight for the Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern, much to their delight.

While their season has barely got off to a flyer, a blockbuster meeting with Paris Saint-Germain this evening is enough to get their mouths watering as they line their stomachs.

Though manager Arsene Wenger has proved to be somewhat of a divisive figure in North London across recent years, he has spoken of his constant snubs to top brass in the French capital.

Following their take over by wealthy Qatari owners, the Ligue 1 champions are said to have contacted Le Prof over the notion of him taking the reigns at Parc De Princes.

However, now into his 19th season in charge of the Gunners, the 66-year-old has now revealed as to why he ignored all overtures.

“Because I love where I am,” he said (quotes sourced from ESPN.)

“I know well the owners [of PSG] but I feel always I am loyal to Arsenal football club. I think it’s a club that has the qualities I love, and that’s why.”

Into the final year of his deal, his strong connection to the club is enough to draw tears to the eyes of some of our North London locals.

As are some of his transfer dealings.

Will this be Wenger’s final year in charge?
