With the Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern still discussing the thrilling nature of their win over Burnley over the course of the weekend, they are hopeful the Gunners can build on that momentum.
While the north London locals propping up the bar aren’t overly hopeful of many incomings this month, there have been some interesting reports from Holland on the transfer front at least.
According to Telesport, Gedion Zelalem is closing in on a move to Dutch side VVV Venlo in the Dutch second tier for the rest of the campaign. A hugely talented youngster, the American U23 international is also said to have extended his contract in north London prior to his move to Holland.
He spent last term on loan with Rangers as they won the Scottish Championship and has been linked with the likes of Borussia Dortmund in the past, though it seems Arsene Wenger has big plans for him in the years to come.
