While Granit Xhaka’s name is bandied about the Transfer Tavern amongst the Arsenal supporters in tonight, they’ve been linked with more big moves.

Juventus striker Alvaro Morata is understood to be a major target, with the Gunners are also believed to be hopeful of concluding another deal for an international.

After remaining almost entirely dormant in the market over the past 12 months or so, the North London giants are seemingly ‘making it rain’ at long last.

According to the Sun, the club are hopeful of securing a shock £7m deal for Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic over the course of the summer.

The Australian international is highly rated North of the Border and could help bolster ranks in the engine room following the departures of Mikel Arteta, Mathieu Flamini and Tomas Rosicky.

He scored an impressive 10 goals from a central midfield berth, including a wonder strike against Kilmarnock that won the Goal of the Season award.

Though the Bhoys have just appointed Brendan Rodgers and harbour aspirations of making it back into the Champions League, the financial might of the North London giants is understood to make them hopeful of securing a deal.

Would signing Rogic be worthwhile for the Gunners?
