Arsenal fans here in the Transfer Tavern are quietly optimistic that their side could win the Europa League this season and allows themselves to make a return to the Champions League. If this happens, the owners must back the Gunners to get all the stars needed for a successful season next year.
Arsenal have been really poor in general this season and the summer transfer window looks to be the perfect time to start rebuilding parts of the club. A player that if Arsenal sign would turn them into genuine title contenders in Napoli’s Lorenzo Insigne, valued at £54.00 million on Transfermarkt.
The 26-year-old is a top-class winger that would add a completely new dimension to Arsenal’s attack. Insigne has had a very good personal year this season, making 38 appearances and scoring 13 goals whilst also assisting 11 as well thus far. The Italian is an extremely gifted player with an abundance of pace, dribbling skills and finishing ability.
If Arsenal were prepared to smash their transfer budget once again then a winger should be an option they look at to replace the inconstant Alex Iwobi. Just imagine the damage that the Arsenal frontline could do if they also had Insigne within it…
With Insigne and Napoli nailed on for Champions League football next season, the Gunners may have to also be in the competition to give Lorenzo Insigne more of an incentive to come to London.
Insigne has been amazing out in Italy for the past few seasons and we are curious as to why no one has really shown strong interest in the winger. The 26-year-old also has the ability to play as a striker and Arsenal could really do with another quality player in their side.
