As you might well expect, the Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are foaming at the mouth as the transfer window fast approaches.
After watching their title hopes fade away yet again, there is mounting fan frustration at the Emirates Stadium due to a lack of investment in the first-team.
Last summer, the Gunners were the only side in Europe’s top five leagues not to draft in a singly senior outfield player.
So, fans are pretty frustrated.
Well, imagine their disappointment then when they are linked with a £10m bid for Bolton defender Rob Holding.
The 20-year old is by no means a bad player, far from it, though reports from Football Insider (and Bolton based news reporter Mark Isles) suggesting the club are stepping up attempts have been met with a shrug of the shoulders.

Still, the defender has emerged as one of the few bright spots of the Trotters’ miserable season in the Championship, making 30 appearances in all competitions.
Everton are also thought to have an interest in the central defender, though it is now believed Arsenal have thrown their hats into the ring.
Should Arsenal be focusing on bigger names?
