Arsenal fans are giving their seal of approval to the latest reports from The Telegraph about a potential replacement for under-fire manager Unai Emery.

According to the outlet, the most likely scenario should the Basque-born manager get sacked is Freddie Ljungberg taking over on an interim basis with Steve Bould potentially assisting him.

Ljungberg was only promoted to the first-team coaching staff in the summer after his successful stint with the club’s under-23 side.

He has been praised by youngster Bukayo Saka for helping him develop as a player with the 18-year-old revealing he goes to the Swede for advice at times (via The Guardian).

Links with the Arsenal job come after less than assured performances under Emery with the club having gone six games without a win across all competitions, their longest such run since 1998 (via BBC).
