Arsenal fans have been bemoaning the potential signing of Layvin Kurzawa after David Ornstein started reporting on the transfer.
The Athletic’s journalist is seen as one of the more reliable sources of information among the north London faithful when it comes to stories. His confirmation of numerous transfers including the likes of Kieran Tierney, Nicolas Pepe and David Luiz has made him something of a cult hero among supporters (via David Ornstein).
With regards to the Paris Saint Germain defender, Ornstein is reporting that the Gunners are in ‘advanced talks’ with the French side over the signing of the 27-year-old this month. He is also claiming that the club are looking for between three to four free, low-cost or temporary moves, however, stopped short of confirming whether all were a certainty to be completed.
Following the tweet by the former BBC man, fans took to Twitter to bemoan the potential transfer of the player. Here is a selection of tweets from the Emirates Stadium faithful:

It’s a terrible deal. More dead wood stinking up the wage budget, don’t be happy cos it’s just a signing when it’s a terrible one.

Why do we need him? We already have Tierney and Kolasinac. Seems a bit weird
