Arsenal fans have been blasting sections of the British media after Freddie Ljungberg was asked about his choice of clothes in Sunday’s draw away to Norwich City.
In his pre-match press conference yesterday, Ljungberg was asked why he didn’t wear a suit against Daniel Farke’s men, to which he jokingly responded the time between being appointed and the game was too short (via Sky Sports).
The question was asked after former Manchester United man Paul Scholes took aim at the Swede for not wearing a shirt and tie on his managerial debut in the game at Carrow Road.
Arsenal face Brighton and Hove Albion tomorrow evening as the side looks to bounce back from a run of six Premier League games without a win.
Fans weren’t too pleased with the question aimed towards their new manager as they took to Twitter to react.
