Arsenal: Fans call for Mesut Ozil to feature in more games

Arsenal fans have been calling for Mesut Ozil to feature in more games for the club after his strange start to the season.

One fan of the club took to Twitter to share a statistics regarding Ozil’s creativity, pointing out he’s created the most chances in the Premier League under Unai Emery despite only starting 21 of the 46 games, also calling for his return (via Twitter).
The former Germany international was named as one of the five captains by the Spanish boss, however, has rarely featured this campaign (via Evening Standard). Ozil has played just two games out of the 11 in all competitions and has been left out of the squad for the last three games (via Transfermarkt).
Former player Paul Merson came out in defence of the maligned playmaker, claiming he should be starting for the club as he admitted his shock at Emery’s treatment of the 30-year-old (via The Metro).

Emery doesnt want us to be good. he likes to play defensively against mid table teams and after every game say that we are learning. i dont when we are going to stop learning .

Ozil should play. We finally have a good squad with a seriously weak manger. This squad needs a real manger. If we get rid of emery in January and get one more CB we can challenge. Need a English speaking manager as well. It's all about the manger. #emeryout.
