Arsenal fans have chosen Lukas Podolski after they were asked to pick the best left-footed player in the club’s history.
The Germany international was remembered for the brilliant goals he scored with his left-foot with his striker versus Montpellier in the Champions League one of his stand out strikes for the club.

Podolski joined the club in the summer of 2012 for a fee believed to be just £10.9m from German club Cologne (via BBC).
He went on to make 82 appearances for the Gunners, scoring 31 goals and assisting a further 17 as he won an FA Cup with the side (via Transfermarkt).
His left foot was so effective, with his final goal for Germany in a friendly against England just one piece of evidence. The 34-year-old struck a rocket into the top corner in what was his final game before international retirement.
