Arsenal: Fans connect the dots as ‘draft agreement’ is reached for Daniele Rugani

With David Luiz’s potential move to Arsenal inching closer, it appears that the Gunners’ centre-back shortage problem could soon been solved, yet Daniele Rugani continues to be linked.

According to Sportitalia via Football Italia, the Gunners have agreed personal terms with the Juventus centre-back and that a ‘draft agreement’ has been reached between the two clubs that will see Rugani head to the north London side on an initial two-year loan deal worth a reported €40m (£36.83m).

With Sky Sports earlier reporting via the Daily Cannon that defender Shkodran Mustafi could be on his way out to France, Arsenal fans have been quick to link the two stories together.

Supporters took to social media to praise the potential plot from the Gunners to bring in Rugani and allow the German defender to leave.

Here is what some Arsenal fans had to say on Twitter…

Arsenal are expected to also sign Kieran Tierney before the deadline according to BBC Sport.
