Many Arsenal fans are delighted that Henrikh Mkhitarayan could potentially exit the club on a permanent basis after his loan spell with AS Roma expires, according to Gazzetta it (via Worldwide Arsenal).

The Armenian international has been on loan at the Italian club since the start of the season and reports are suggesting that they will approach the Gunners to make the move permanent in the summer transfer window.

The 31-year old has made 17 appearances in all competitions for Roma this campaign, scoring six goals and providing a further four assists, according to Transfermarkt. With 'Mkhi' currently out of Mikel Arteta's plans, it looks like there is a possibility that he will be sold by the Spanish coach.

However, it is not yet known if and when the window will open given recent events, as all major footballing competitions have been postponed for at least three weeks. This means that the season is likely to drag on into the summer, putting transfers potentially at jeopardy.
