Some Arsenal fans have lashed out at Matteo Guendouzi after the Frenchman featured top of a list comparing players under 21.

According to Transfermarkt, the France youth international is the most valuable central midfielder under the age of 21 in world football. He tops the chart with a value of €50m (roughly £42m) with Manchester City's Phil Foden coming in second with a value of €30m (roughly £25.2m). Joe Willock features in third place in the list with a value of €18m (roughly £15.1m).

Guendouzi has earned the wrath of supporters in recent weeks due to a mixture of his poor form and attitude off the pitch. He was involved in a heated row with head coach Mikel Arteta and some of the coaching staff during the winter break (via The Telegraph). The 20-year-old was lambasted by supporters for his performance in his most recent Premier League start against Burnley, with one fan labelling him 'pub level' (via Football Fancast).
