Arsenal fans are feeling excited after former manager Arsene Wenger landed a new job with FIFA.
Would Arsene Wenger do a better job than Unai Emery?
The federation announced on their Twitter account that the Frenchman had landed a role as the organisation’s Chief of Global Football Development (via FIFA).
Among his many duties, the former-Arsenal manager will be in charge of the growth and development of the sport for both men and women.
His new role with world football’s governing body comes just a few days after the 70-year-old put to rest rumours of a move to German club Bayern Munich (Bein Sport via The Sun).
Wenger has been out of work since he left the north London giants at the end of the 2017/2018 season, stepping down as manager after 22 years at the helm.
Fans relayed their excitement after Wenger finally accepted a job in football as they took to Twitter to react.
