Arsenal fans are starting to get excited after reports emerged from football.london that Rob Holding is set to return to first-team action after the international break.
Holding has been out since December 2018 after suffering a serious knee injury in the 2-2 draw against Manchester United.
His return could shore up an Arsenal defence that has already conceded six goals in their opening four Premier League games this season (via Premier League).
Holding was part of Arsenal’s back-four during the club’s 22-game unbeaten run last season, the longest the Gunners managed since 2007 (via Opta).
The Englishman has been with the north London giants since moving from Bolton Wanderers for £2m back in the summer of 2016 (via BBC).
Fans can’t wait to see the defender who formed part of their solid defence last campaign, as they took to Twitter to give their reaction to the news of his return.
