Arsenal: Fans fuming at latest transfer news as Dejan Lovren linked
Many Arsenal fans are fuming at reports linking them with a transfer for Dejan Lovren in the summer window (Transfer News via Daily Mirror).
The report states that the Gunners are battling it out with north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur for the Croatian international’s signature as he has fallen out of favour under Jurgen Klopp.
Lovren is arguably behind Virgil Van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip in the centre back pecking order and Liverpool may look for a replacement in the next transfer window if they can offload him.
The 30-year old has only made 14 appearances in all competitions for the Reds this season, but has managed to bag himself a goal and an assist according to Transfermarkt.
Arsenal may be looking to add a quality central defender in the summer but many supporters are not convinced that Lovren is the answer. One fan even claimed that if the Gunners sign him, he will never watch another Arsenal game again:
