Arsenal: Fans go nuts as club finally confirm Kieran Tierney deal

It’s been a transfer saga that has lasted the majority of the summer after an initial bid was rejected almost two months ago, but Arsenal have finally secured the signing of Kieran Tierney.

The Celtic left-back joins the Gunners for a reported £25m (per BBC Sport), the highest fee ever paid for a player from the Scottish Premiership.

David Luiz also joined the Gunners yesterday in an £8m deal (as per BBC Sport).

The signing of Tierney has been a long and drawn out saga for these Arsenal fans, with the Gunners reportedly having a £15m bid rejected back in June (as per Scottish Sun). And, as you would expect, supporters were excited and relieved to see the deal be confirmed by the north London club as they took to social media to celebrate the deal.

Here is how some Arsenal fans reacted to Tierney’s signing on Twitter…

Arsenal broke their transfer record this summer to sign Nicolas Pepe from Lille for a reported £72m (per BBC Sport).
