According to reports from The Mirror, Aubameyang is desperate to leave the club amid Mikel Arteta’s appointment as head coach.
The Gabon international has been a crucial player for the Gunners this season, scoring 13 goals in 21 games across all competitions, the most of any player in the squad (via Transfermarkt).
He has been linked with moves to both Barcelona and Real Madrid amid claims that the forward may not renew his contract at the club (via The Daily Star).
The news will be a bitter blow for the club, who have already seen attacker Alexis Sanchez depart the club for rivals Manchester United in the January transfer window of 2018.
