Arsenal: Fans happy to let Alexandre Lacazette go if Thomas Partey joins - Arsenal

Some Arsenal fans are happy to let Alexandre Lacazette go to Atletico Madrid if it means that they can get Thomas Partey in exchange.

This comes after The Sun exclusively revealed that the north London club are hoping to secure a deal for the midfield powerhouse, and may be willing to include Lacazette as a makeweight in exchange.

question mark

Who was George Graham's first signing for the club?

As per the outlet, Partey still has three years left on his contract as the Spanish giants are poised to tie him down to a new package, meaning that the Gunners will have to get creative if they want to prize him away.

The 26-year old wins 6.6 duels per La Liga game this season, and also averages 2.1 tackles, 1.4 interceptions and 1.2 clearances, according to Sofascore.

He would be a welcome addition to Arsenal’s starting eleven given his ability to win the ball back and potentially dominate midfield.

‘Laca’ on the other hand is not enjoying a particularly prolific campaign, scoring just seven times in the Premier League, as per Sofascore.

These Gooners are happy to let the 28-year old go if it means that Partey can become an AFC player, and shared their thoughts on Twitter:

Arsenal fans, would you swap Lacazette with Partey? Comment below!
