Arsenal fans have been hitting out at Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s brother for comments he made regarding Mikel Arteta.
Would Arteta be worth £5m a year?
Aubameyang’s brother, named Willy, took to Instagram to hit out at the inexperience of the 37-year-old Spaniard, who according to the Daily Mail is set to sign a three-and-a-half-year contract to take charge at the club (Willy Aubameyang via Arsenal Goals).
The comment follows on from reports concerning the Arsenal forward, who was annoying staff at the Emirates Stadium for his interaction with AFTV’s ‘Troopz’ (via The Athletic).
His relationship with the fan was reportedly causing some people within the club to think Aubameyang had engineered it to become immune to criticism even if performance-levels dropped.
Fans didn’t seem to happy with the ace’s brother as they took to Twitter to lambast him for his comments on Arteta’s potential appointment.
Here is a selection of tweets from the north London faithful:
Aubameyang’s entourage has a very Anelka like feeling.

He shouldn’t be saying this, he doesn’t have to say it on social media, only making things toxic. Especially because he is close to Auba, and people may feel auba shares to same opinion

I wouldn’t be surprised if his brother shares the same sentiment too. These guys might just set out to undermine Mikel.
The squad needs an overhaul.
I would actually leave Xhaka
