Arsenal: Fans lambaste fellow supporters for poor atmosphere during loss to Olympiakos

Arsenal fans have been lambasting their fellow supporters for failing to create an atmosphere during their loss to Olympiakos in the Europa League last night.
The Gunners lost 2-1 after a 119th-minute winner from the Greek giants sent Mikel Arteta’s side crashing out of Europe’s second-tier competition. Furthermore, one supporter named Paul McG AFC claimed the Emirates Stadium faithful did nothing to help the team in their quest to win the fixture.
Indeed, it’s been said that Arsenal have had poor atmosphere for a number of years and a fan group even revealed plans to help create a better one at the start of this season (via Ashburton Army). The north London outfit is also known to regularly overstate the number of fans that have attended a match, showing the poor following (via BBC). Supporters lashed out at those who attended the tie last night as they reacted to the tweet calling out the crowd. Here are a selection of tweets:

They lack of the passion of South American football, or Turkish and German ones. It’s there, but not enough.
