Arsenal: Fans lash out at Lukasz Fabianski after his errors during Liverpool clash

The 34-year-old was directly at fault for two of their goals, first failing to keep out Georginio Wijnaldum’s header before letting Mohamed Salah’s shot spill through his hands (via BBC). They proved costly errors as Liverpool turned the game on its head, eventually running out 3-2 winners and keeping their hopes of matching north London outfit’s unbeaten season.

One fan claimed Fabianski ‘hates’ the club.

In the FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea in 2009, he ran out of his goal to clear Frank Lampard’s long ball, only to be beaten to it by Didier Drogba, who rolled into an empty net (via BBC). After his performance on Monday night, some Arsenal supporters were less than friendly towards the goalkeeper as they blasted him for his errors with Liverpool still on course to match the Gunners’ iconic record of going through a whole season unbeaten.
