Arsenal: Fans lash out at Matteo Guendouzi after reported bust-up with Mikel Arteta

Matteo Guendouzi has enjoyed a stellar rise, going from Ligue 2 all the way to a Europa League final and the top six of the Premier League. As a result of a brilliant debut season, he saw his value on Transfermarkt go from a mere £6.3m when he joined the Gunners to a staggering £45m as of December 2019.
However, that seems to be a thing of the past and, not for the first time, the player has reports about his attitude lingering over his head. According to The Telegraph, the France youth international got into a heated row with Mikel Arteta and as a result, was left out of the squad to face Newcastle United yesterday. He also faced similar issues at Lorient, where he was dropped from the matchday squad for three months after a row (via Independent).
One fan called the 20-year-old an ’emotional’ player.
Kill it before it lays eggs, I would say. Matteo is an emotional player, you can see it on the pitch. Every decission, freekicks etc, you never see him smile, complaints alot and never agrees it seems. Better to get rid of it now then it becoming a problem later on

Guendouzi’s career in north London could go pear-shaped if he doesn’t fix his off-field problems. However, it seems as though fans have already turned on him as they took to Twitter to lambaste the midfielder. Here are some of their responses:
It’s Mikel’s way or the highway ….

Had same problems at Lorient before he joined Arsenal. I think Lorient’s coach didn’t play him for months. Has an inflated level of self-importance

I’d sell him. Think he’s ordinary anyway.
