Arsenal fans have been lauding Bernd Leno after a video of his double-save against Tottenham Hotspur emerged on Twitter.
Is Bernd Leno the best 'keeper since Lehmann?
After stopping Christian Eriksen at point-blank range, the Germany international then reacted brilliantly to then deny Moussa Sissoko just seconds later (via Arsenal).
Leno has carried that form into the 2019/2020 season and tops the charts for the most saves made by a ‘keeper (73) after 17 Premier League games (via Premier League).
However, despite his good form, the 27-year-old has kept just two clean sheets this season with the club conceding 27 goals in their 17 league games.
His form has seen him being linked with a move back to his native Germany with reports from The Sun claiming that Bayern Munich have made the former Bayer Leverkusen man their number one target.
Fans were left lavishing the shot-stopper with praise after being reminded of his double-save as they took to Twitter to react.
Here is a selection of tweets from the north London faithful:
would be in relegation zone without Leno
