Arsenal fans have reacted to club-captain Laurent Koscielny completing his first full training session since the horrific injury he suffered against Atletico Madrid in the semi-final of the Europa League in May, and it’s safe to say the Gunners’ supporters are delighted.
The 33-year-old has been showing great progress in recovering from fracturing his Achilles at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium and was only expected to return to full training in November, but the defender was pictured practising with his teammates on Sunday ahead of Arsenal’s Premier League clash with Leicester City on Monday evening.
But although Koscielny, who announced his retirement from international football less than two weeks ago, isn’t likely to feature for Unai Emery’s men at the Emirates on Monday, the club’s fans are impressed with the work he has done to be ahead of his scheduled return.
Here are some of their Twitter reactions following the session:
Welcome back captain
