Arsenal fans were over the moon after the core of Mikel Arteta’s backroom staff was announced by the club.
It was announced Freddie Ljungberg, Steve Round, Inaki Cana Pavon and Albert Stuivenberg will be the four men to directly assist the Spaniard (via Arsenal).
The move sees Ljungberg return to the role he took up when he joined the first-team during last summer.
Round joins after amassing a wealth of coaching experience with English clubs having worked at Newcastle United, Everton, Middlesbrough and Manchester United.
Meanwhile, Pavon joins the club having left his position as goalkeeping coach at Championship outfit Brentford.
Finally, Stuivenberg joins the club having just qualified for Euro 2020 with the Welsh national team as Ryan Giggs’ assistant.
Fans were left feeling quite excited with the news about the club’s new backroom staff as they took to Twitter to react.
