Arsenal fans were left feeling pleased after the club managed to keep their first clean sheet since the 1-0 win over Bournemouth.
The clean sheet against Everton was their first in over 10 games and their first during Freddie Ljungberg’s tenure as interim head coach.
Fans were more than pleased with the draw away to Everton with one supporter talking about the need for the club to go ‘back to basics’.
A lot of people moaning after that performance, but after our worst run in decades, Arsenal needed to get back to basics, and the basics start in defence!
Getting a clean sheet at Everton is no mean feat, we filled spaces & defended very well.
It’s the base to push on.👍#AFC

However, despite the clean sheet, the north London outfit has still conceded 27 goals across their 18 Premier League games this season, the sixth-most in the division (via Premier League).
After the draw, the Gunners now sit nine points behind fourth-placed Chelsea after the Blues beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 yesterday.
Fans were left feeling pleased with the fact the club had a clean sheet as they took to Twitter to react to the draw against the Merseysiders.
Here is a selection of tweets from the north London faithful:
‘Worst game of the year’ Tottenham bias again. The game featured an away clean sheet (despite constant grief given to Arsenal’s defence) and Saka, Reiss Nelson and Smith Rowe (all teenage English players) and Martinelli (teenager) starting. Poor assessment from a poor pundit.

@m8arteta went in to give them a team talk and we managed to get our first clean sheet since the opening day😅
A few weeks of his coaching and we will be trashing Chelsea 3-0 at the Emirates 🔥🔥#AFC #Arsenal #Arteta #COYG https://t.co/6KVqBVwUUe
