Arsenal fans have been heaping praise on French midfielder Matteo Guendouzi as he tops the list for the most valuable U21 player in the Europa League.
The 20-year-old has received waves of praise in recent weeks after a string of solid performances in the Premier League and in Europe’s second-tier competition.
Since his move from Lorient for £8m in 2018, the France U21 international has been nominated for the prestigious Golden Boy award and calls have been made for him to replace the Swiss middle man Granit Xhaka as the captain of the club.
He has cemented himself in Arsenal’s starting lineup and his player valuation has gone up as a result.
