Arsenal fans have been professing their love for Freddie Ljungberg after a post by the club about the interim head coach.
After the game against Everton, Ljungberg’s spell as interim head coach at the club ended as he made way for Mikel Arteta to take over.
It caused the fans to show their love for the former attacker with one fan alluding to the difficulties he faced during his time managing the side.
Thank you Freddie, for taking charge on short notice, for suffering through a lack of staff, for dealing with the pressure, for everything you’ve done for the past couple of weeks. We appreciate your efforts! ⚪⚪

The 42-year-old has endured a tough time in charge of the north London giants and even reportedly talked to the hierarchy about the lack of effort from some of the first-team players.
It seems like the Gunners legend had enough of his senior players as he named the club’s youngest ever starting XI since May 2011 (via BBC).
The likes of Reiss Nelson, Emile Smith Rowe, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Gabriel Martinelli all earned starts.
Fans were full of love for the former Sweden international as they took to Twitter to react to the end of his reign in charge.
Here is a selection of tweets from the north London faithful:
