Arsenal: Fans profess their love for Arsene Wenger after comparison with Unai Emery

Arsenal fans have been professing their love for Arsene Wenger after statistics comparing his last 50 games with Unai Emery’s first 50 games emerged.
The Frenchman won more games, more points, scored more and conceded fewer goals than the Spaniard, and it has seen swathes of messages of love for Wenger (Sky Sports via The Metro).
One fan highlighted how Wenger’s last 50 games at the club was the worst of his 22-year tenure as Arsenal manager.

Meanwhile, the same fate as his predecessor as the call for him to be sacked grows louder when looking at some social media reaction collated via Caught Offside.
However, it seems fans were showing their love for Wenger despite the circumstances upon which he left the club as they took to Twitter to react.

To be honest, when Wenger was around there was still a connection, now that connection is destroyed by Emery and the Owners, are we better off focusing on other things in your life while we wait for the inevitable regarding this club. Support with no expectation? #Arsenal

In my view Emery is the worst Arsenal manager in living memory. He is worse than terry Neill. I never wanted to sack arsenal wenger. I did hope he would leave. Arsenal are worse this year than last year. #EmeryOut
