Arsenal: Fans react to Adrian Clarke’s comments on Dani Ceballos

Many Arsenal fans have heaped praise on Dani Ceballos after journalist Adrian Clarke hailed the playmaker’s performance against West Ham United, claiming that he should have got man-of-the-match instead of Bernd Leno.
Speaking on The Breakdown, Clarke says that Ceballos ‘bossed the midfield’ and has ‘excellent ball control’. He further comments that the Spaniard also put in ‘diligent work’ to break up Hammers attacks and overall was the ‘dominant figure’ in midfield (highlights via Arsenal’s official Twitter page).
Leno was given MOTM by the fans but it was indeed Ceballos who put in a MOTM performance. Arsenal’s number eight was given an 8.2 rating on Sofascore for his performance against West Ham, topping stats for tackles (5), accurate passes (86), interceptions (6) and touches (121).
Ceballos is on loan from Real Madrid for the rest of the season and with performances like these Arsenal fans will hope that the club sign him up permanently. These Arsenal fans heaped praise on the midfielder on Twitter, with one fan even comparing him to fan-favourite Santi Cazorla:

For sure he had a good game.. we need more of that and perhaps tie him down to Emirates and help the team repossess it’s lost glory.
