Arsenal fans react to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s Player of the Month nomination

Arsenal forward Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang has been thriving under new Gunners boss Unai Emery so far this season.

The Gabon international has been nominated for October’s Premier League Player of the Month award, having bagged five goals and got one assist across three games last month, helping the Gunners to two wins and a draw in their rise to fourth place in the Premier League table.

Remarkably, the former Borussia Dortmund goal-machine actually only started one of those three matches with his game time amounting to just 135 minutes, in which he contributed to a grand total of six goals as the North London giants continue to improve under the stewardship of ex-Sevilla and Paris Saint-Germain chief Emery.

Arsenal fans are notorious for helping a player to win something that the supporters can vote for, so his nomination, as announced by the club on their official Twitter handle on Friday, has unsurprisingly stimulated quite a reaction from Gunners supporters on the social media platform.

And, unsurprisingly, plenty of Arsenal fans are buzzing for their goal-machine following the recent announcement…

While some Arsenal fans also seem to be more than aware of how domineering they can be when it comes to online voting…

Arsenal fans… what do you think? Let us know!
