Arsenal: Fans regret Aaron Ramsey’s departure after nine games without a win

Lots of Arsenal fans have been reflecting on the decision to allow Aaron Ramsey to leave the club.

The Gunners are on a horrific run of form that has seen them go nine matches without a win in all competitions, with the sacking of Unai Emery doing little to turn things around so far.
For all the talk of the problems in defence, the sieve-like midfield is a massive issue for Freddie Ljungberg to fix as well, which has prompted fans to look back on the exit of Ramsey.
The Wales international, who hit the headlines recently with a brace to send his country to Euro 2020, scored winning goals in multiple FA Cup finals during his spell in north London.
While injuries certainly hampered him during his time as a Gunner, his combination of a fantastic work rate, goalscoring ability and creativity made him a unique asset in the centre of the park, one that certainly shouldn’t have been allowed to leave for free.

That’s why Emery had to leave. Wenger’s players have been far superior to the players Emery has brought in the team. Were moving backwards as a club

Should Arsenal give Freddie Ljungberg the job until the end of the season?
