Some Arsenal fans have slammed the potential permanent transfer of midfielder Dani Ceballos.
Ceballos is currently on a season-long loan at the Emirates, but the Daily Mirror have reported that the Gunners could sign the Spain international permanently in the summer for £36m.
Arsenal’s number 8 has made 24 appearances for the north London club in all competitions this season, scoring one goal and providing two assists (via Transfermarkt). He surely needs to improve on these numbers if he wants to be in Mikel Arteta’s plans for next season.
The midfielder has caused a debate on Twitter about whether Arsenal should sign him permanently, and these Gooners are against the idea, with one fan saying that they ‘wouldn’t waste the money’. Another fan has suggested to spend the money on Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey instead:

Its like you started watching football from last year mate? Ceballos isnt half the player santi was..

I’d send Ceballos back, then sign Partey and Aouar. Better fit to what we need.

Wouldn’t waste the money.
I’d rather bring in Upemecano and Partey. Ceballos brings no more than Özil and half the fan base are after him.
