Arsenal were outclassed by Leicester in Saturday’s evening kick-off, and that certainly won’t help Unai Emery, who is hoping for more support from the terraces. They now sit in sixth place level on points with Sheffield United, so, as expected, fans weren’t exactly complimentary of their manager.
During Saturday’s 2-0 defeat, the Gunners had just one shot on target, and WhoScored noted 20% of the game was played in Leicester’s defensive third, compared to 36% being played in Arsenal’s. They conceded 19 shots, so the scoreline could have been even worse for Unai Emery, and none of his outfield players earned a WhoScored rating of higher than 6.5/10.
Will Unai Emery survive the season in charge of Arsenal?
Those stats are telling, and Arsenal fans showed their annoyance at the performance and result on Twitter. The club’s official Twitter account posted the final score with a caption simply saying, “All over at the King Power Stadium”, and the replies were filled with calls for the manager to be sacked, and some even predicting that game would be the final straw.
All over at the King Power Stadium.

You can see some of their reactions to the tweet below:
Why is Emery a scam?
-6 points ahead of Aston Villa in 17th place.
-1 goal difference after 12 league games.
– Can’t attack,can’t defend , inshort can’t can!
– Drew vs Palace,Watford,United, Vitoria Sport, games we needed to win.

is it weird that I’m no longer surprised with the result? we have the right players but not the right tactics. it’s enough. that clueless clown has to go. don’t tweet anything after this unless the announcement of emery’s departure. #EmeryOut
