Arsenal: Fans thrilled after Rob Holding boards flight to Germany

Arsenal fans were thrilled after the club’s official Twitter account posted a video showing Rob Holding boarding the club’s flight to Germany to face Eintracht Frankfurt.

Holding has been out since December 2018 after suffering a knee injury as Arsenal drew 2-2 away to Manchester United (via BBC).

The centre-back’s return comes after the 2-2 draw away to Watford, where Sokratis and David Luiz both made mistakes.

The centre-back was in sparkling form last season, forming part of the defence that led the Gunners to 22-games unbeaten across all competitions (via Twitter). Holding lost none of his 16 appearances that he made in all competitions prior to his injury (via Transfermarkt).

Holding has been at the north London giants since the summer of 2016 after joining from Bolton Wanderers for just £2m.

Arsenal fans seemed to be on cloud nine following the video that showed Holding board the plane to Germany as they took to Twitter to tweet their reactions.
